Tim Lockwood
Managing Partner

Tim’s approach to work is simple: do what’s right, strive to be the best you can be and treat others with respect. It’s a philosophy that serves Yolon and our clients well. Tim has a long history of building and developing first-class sales teams and he personally manages energy programs for some of our biggest accounts.

Before starting Yolon with Russ Monroe, Tim was Director of Sales for World Energy Solutions and co-founder of Curb Energy and Rate Droppers. He graduated from Assumption University with a degree in Business Management.

Tim lives in his hometown of Feeding Hills, MA with his wife Christine and their two kids, Ashley and Matthew. They’re a dog-loving family, with up to three pups running around the house at any given time. He loves basketball, golf, BBQs and boating. Tim is also the Founder of the Brian Litz Memorial Scholarship Fund, (www.litzfund.com) in honor of his childhood friend, a fallen police officer.

Russ Monroe
Managing Partner

A big part of what gets Russ excited to come to work every day is being part of a team that solves problems. He has a deep understanding of the energy markets and genuinely loves developing solutions that make life easier for our clients.

Before starting Yolon with Tim Lockwood, Russ served as Vice President of Sales for World Energy Solutions. He also had a long stint as President of Northeast Energy Partners, where he was instrumental in developing quality assurance in its systems and products, facilitating the company’s rapid growth and evolution into one of the largest energy brokers in the region. Russ holds a degree in Marketing from Western New England University and formerly served as an Intelligence Operations Specialist for the Air National Guard.

Russ and his wife Lora were named Class Couple in 9th grade and they’ve been together ever since. The Monroe family lives in Southwick, MA and includes three daughters (Rachel, Brenna and Marleigh) and two dogs (Avery and Ziva). Russ loves red wine and nachos, but not necessarily at the same time. He also loves trying to dominate on the Yolon foosball table, with “trying” being the key word.

Elisabeth Bottomley
Managing Partner

Elisabeth believes that building loyalty and trust with clients means more than obsessing over big numbers and quotas. The passion and perspective she brings to Yolon is a major benefit to our company and our clients.

Elisabeth spent more than ten years at World Energy Solutions executing procurement strategies for customers ranging from small businesses to some of the largest utilities in the country for their electricity, natural gas and green energy needs. She then enjoyed a brief sojourn as a van-living, cross-country-driving ski bum in Utah. When Russ and Tim were in the early stages of building Yolon, Elisabeth was the first person they thought of. The idea of building a company with Russ and Tim was interesting and exciting enough to bring Elisabeth back home. She holds a BA in Math from Holy Cross and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College.

Elisabeth lives in Princeton, MA with her husband Will and three sons, Parker, Ryan and Michael. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, snowboarding, soccer, softball, puzzles and visiting wineries and breweries. Her career highlight (so far) is teaching J-Lo how to snowboard.
